Dan is an award-winning director, writer and editor from rural Essex and based in London, UK. He specialises in combining emotionally grounded storytelling with bold, commercial genre filmmaking.

His feature, Bambi: The Reckoning, received an international theatrical release before debuting at #3 on streaming giant Peacock. The film was hailed by critics as one of the standout films in the public-domain horror movement, with Bloody Disgusting describing it as “the best public domain horror movie so far.” (Bloody Disgusting!)

In 2018, his #3MinuteHorror series received acclaim, amassing over 3 million views online. Episode one, “The Mime”, has screened at BAFTA and Oscar qualifying Leeds International Film Festival, Vortex, Rhode Island international Film Festival, amongst others.

Dan’s films combine emotionally driven characters with cinematic spectacle, exploring themes of grief, identity and obsession through horror and psychological thriller storytelling. He is currently developing multiple feature films with international partners, continuing to establish himself as one of the UK’s rising genre filmmakers.
